| All Alabama vital records are available from the State office and through a statewide computer system that became fully operational in all 67 counties in June 1996. Within the state, authorized applicants can walk into any county health department and get any Alabama vital record, regardless of where the event occurred. Not that county offices are not prepared to handle mail co customers outside Alabama should not write or call any county health department office. Instead, all calls and mail should be directed to the State office. |
