Requests sent by regular mail will be processed within 5-10 working days after receipt by the Bureau of Vital Statistics. Faxed requests submitted with credit card payment will normally be processed 3-5 working days after receipt by the Bureau of Vital Statistics. Please note that the $11.00 credit card fee is not for expedited service.

If the records are not available at the State office, they should be available from the Clerk of Superior Court in judicial district where the divorce was granted. Divorce records are sealed for 50 years.
